Faithful Friday

I know that most everyone has fear and insecurities. I am always blabbing about mine, y'all are probably sick of hearing about them. So I'm going to share it anyway (it is my blog). A huge insecurity/fear I have is the fear of not being accepted, or being rejected, or not being liked. I have found myself in the past few weeks in a role where I am feeling like I don't fit in or just feeling left out (I know this sounds very 5th grade). I don't however feel like it has been any ones intent, thing just happen. And I am fully aware that this is something that I have taken up all by myself (well, with help from the enemy). So my prayer has been lately that I NOT take any offence to this. God is so faithful! He has so sweetly reminded me that it's not about who you are, but whose you are. I have found great comfort in knowing that.

So to anyone today who is feeling a little like it is just you facing this crazy world alone. Remember that you are NOT alone. God is here, He is close and He is able to fill any and all voids in our lives. We just have to surrender it to Him. Once we do that, everybody is going to want to be our friend. He will so sweetly remind you, that it is not who you are, but whose you are and it's not about what you can or can't do, but it all about what He has can do and has done.

He is so completely faithful!

It just makes me mad that Satan can have us feeling very similar things. I had a very similar conversation earlier this week. The good news is, what he intends for harm, God intends for good. If we kept things to ourselves, Satan could really do some work, but if we are transparent, God can use these feelings and insecurities to strengthen and unify the body of Christ. Thank you for being transparent. I love you sister!

.....and Tammy says she's not wise.....she must be smokin' crack....because she said it all in that comment.....and so did you.

Thanks for sharing......I'm sure we all need to hear it.

Girl,
You have heard me speak that same fear before. You are one of the instruments God used to help me get away from it. Not that my opinion matters so much but I believe you are a capable, smart, fun-loving, crafty, wise, a good mother & a fantastic friend...just to name a few! :)
Love,
MB

Tamara, it just makes me feel better that I'm not alone in my fears. I've felt those same things...I'm willing to bet we all have. I have to remind myself to make sure and include people in things when I'm comfortable. You guys at EMC have been wonderful to me and my family. You all have reached out and included us and made sure that we are fitting in...as new and crazy as we are.

Shana, I agree with you...Tammy should say more, because she has a huge vat of wisdom inside that skinny little body of hers(yes, I'm jealous of that, too- just another thing I have to pray about before we all get together in our little swimsuits next week-Jesus loves my belly pooch, too). Stay sweet and know that you're always accepted when you're with me...I love you, just the way you are!

Ditto to all that has been said. I have and still struggle with the same issue - I just haven't had the gumption to voice it!! Thank you for putting it out there Tamara.

I see more and more that we are all sisters...don't you?

We all seem to feel to same things and someone always ends up brave enough to put it out there and talk about it.

We are never alone. That is just a lie of the devil and I hate him!!! We are a family and whenever we feel alone we just need to reach out and say so...that's all it takes and then we are together once again.

Not to mention...God is always here.

I love you girls!!!!

Tammy

I have been thinking about this post since Friday. I have not found the time to comment until now. Isn't is scary how the devil can lead us into such thinking?
Tamara thanks for your courage to share your feelings (goodness knows they are really all of our feelings from time to time!).
I had the opportunity to tell someone last week that you were one of the greatest people I know. And I truly mean it!!!

Love ya lots!

No one is sick of hearing about any fears or insecurities you might experience. I appreciate you sharing openly and honestly. I have felt "5th grade", maybe even "3rd grade" lots of times. It's so cool how God brings the right people into your life to get everything in focus. Your honesty continues to be comforting, and to help us know how to specifically pray for you. Thanks for the reminder that we're not alone.

Satan sucks! Yeah, I said sucks. He constantly tries to thwart the plans of the Father and cause division in the body of Christ. I'm sorry that you've been feeling that way but know that those lies are being rebuked in the name of Jesus Christ by others. His name is powerful sista, so be using it to tell Satan to, "beat it!"

Haha, I loved Shana's crack reference!

I hate it that the enemy's rotten ploy is to make us feel so isolated when we are surrounded with God's children and his love.

Thank you for sharing your sweet heart.
